About us:


John Hagedorn has over thirty years of experience in the Financial Services industry.  John's expertise has helped guide Branch managers and financial advisors in the formation and ongoing support of team structures.  


While working for A.G. Edwards & Sons and Wells Fargo Advisors, John served in a variety of leadership roles in support of training and coaching individual producers and teams.  John has been recognized by the industry for his contributions towards the education and development of financial advisors and has held multiple leadership positions in industry and regulatory organizations.  


Prior to beginning his career in the financial services industry, John worked for Monsanto, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and served in the U.S. Army where he earned two bronze stars and the Army Commendation medal.  John has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Saint Louis University, and a Master's degree in Financial Planning.





Kathy Hagedornhas over thirty years of experience in Human Capital Management, primarily with colleges and universities.  She works with clients to enhance talent management strategy, performance and compensation systems, and leadership development.  


Kathy served as vice president for human resources at Saint Louis University, before she and her husband founded The Hagedorn Institute in 2007.  Prior to her work at Saint Louis University, she held human resource management positions with NASA Johnson Space Center, and the National Geospacial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).  


Kathy received bachelor and master's degrees from Saint Louis University, graduating summa cum laude, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. During Kathy's time as VP of HR, Saint Louis University was recognized by the Saint Louis Business Journal as the "Best Place to Work' among all large employers, and by CUPA-HR for Excellence in Human Resource Management.
